As a seasoned data center subject matter expert, thought leader and proven business leader with 25+ years of experience, I have led and served as principal in IT infrastructure technology solutions, communications, and internet infrastructure organizations, with a focus on data center and telecommunications. My expertise extends to diverse and multilingual teams across various functions, including strategy, finance, legal, HR, sales, marketing, and engineering/technology, supporting clients in EMEA, Asia, and North America, with P&L responsibility over several regions.

Throughout my career, I have thrived on disruptive and transformational ventures in large, global companies, as well as setting up startups. I am a builder, innovator, and leader with a rolled-up-sleeves attitude, having had continued success leading high-growth sales teams and organizations. I am driven to make it happen.

My strong technical understanding of the technologies driving digital disruption enables me to align with customers on their technology journey, identify market and adoption patterns, competently communicate business value, and maintain technical credibility. I excel in the gray area between technology and business, using a combination of creativity and technical expertise in multiple regions.

I am particularly passionate about working with start-ups, scale-ups, and market challengers to build companies and create high-performance teams. My areas of expertise include executive leadership, entrepreneurship, advisory, business development, go-to-market strategy, commercial and performance development, marketing and sales, data center site selection and site development, and a background in datacenter, cloud, networking, and technology.

I currently resides in The Netherlands, with my wife Cathelijne and our kids (Anne-Lotte & Floris).
