I am passionate about guiding investors, data center providers, hyperscalers, and web scalers to expand their activities into emerging data center regions. With over 25 years of experience in the IT and data center sector, I offer a unique blend of commercial insight and technical expertise, coupled with a roll-up-your-sleeves mentality.
My passion lies in solving complex challenges and driving growth through disruptive and transformational ventures. Throughout my career, I've led diverse, multilingual teams across strategy, finance, legal, HR, sales, marketing, real-estate, and engineering/technology. My leadership has supported clients across EMEA, APAC, and North America, with P&L responsibility for various regions.
I thrive on the intersection of technology and business, leveraging my deep technical knowledge to partner with clients on their technology journey. I excel in identifying market trends, communicating business value, and maintaining technical credibility.
Currently based in the Netherlands with my wife Cathelijne and our children (Anne-Lotte & Floris).

Companies typically, in my experience, have several objectives when implementing data management tools, it is important to have a clear goal in mind. Subjects to define or to keep in mind: - Ensure that data is accurate, consistent, and reliable - Keep Data Security and Compliance in mind - Streamline your workflows (Automating repetitive tasks, reducing manual errors, and improving the efficiency of data processing workflows can save time and resources) - Make sure the platform can handle data growth (As data volumes grow, organizations need scalable solutions). - Make sure the tooling is easy to use (to many tools are great.. but the user experience is not great).
